Tween Waters Resort Cactus & Palm Wedding Captiva Island
One of the most joyous, rainy weddings. A bride who isn’t afraid of a little drizzle, and allows me to take on full creative freedom (within reason) during portraits means the world to me! Katie refreshed and touched up her curls before heading into the reception because we had extra time while it rained. Knowing we only got a few portraits in before the storm hit, we planned to do a sunset shoot later in the week since they would pass back through town after their honeymoon. The sunny beach photos are from that session.
I look back on this wedding with SUCH fond memories, despite things being unplanned. Katie and Dan smiled the entire. day. through.
PS- the best shots happen in a ditch on the side of road. PPS- trespassing may have occurred during bride and groom portraits. A bride can do just about anything and not get in trouble hehe.
